December - Celebration

During the month of December our ministry theme is Celebration. The word celebrate, from the biblical perspective, means to properly move in a circle. That is, specifically to march in a sacred procession, to observe a festival; by implication to be giddy, to dance and to reel to and fro. As we approach this advent season, I encourage the church community to rejoice, commemorate, and celebrate the Christmas holiday. I encourage you to celebrate this Christmas holiday by circling back to the gift of Jesus Christ and remember what God has done for us. I encourage you to make a procession to a special tree. Not the Christmas tree or the holiday tree, but the tree on a hill called Calvary.

I encourage you to put a smile on your face, a dance in your feet, a shout in your voice, then reel, rock, rejoice, sing and give God high Holy praise. It's time to celebrate!

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." (Luke 2:11-14 KJV).
